वैशम्पायन उवाच
The verse highlights how powerful natural forces (here, the wind embodied as Maruts) are presented as ordered and named lineages, suggesting that even immense energy is understood within a framework of cosmic structure and disciplined multiplicity.
Vaiśampāyana describes the birth of seven sage-like beings who become foundational Marut hosts, listing their names and indicating their role as progenitors of the wider Marut groups.
