हंसेन्दुवर्णसदूशानायोजनसुदर्शनान्‌ । असम्बाधान्‌ समद्वारान्‌ युतानुच्चावचैर्गुणै:

Transliteration

haṃsenduvarṇasadṛśān āyojanasudarśanān | asambādhān samadvārān yutān uccāvacair guṇaiḥ ||

Translation

ବୈଶମ୍ପାୟନ କହିଲେ—ଅତିଥି-ଭବନଗୁଡ଼ିକ ହଂସ ଓ ଚନ୍ଦ୍ରମା ପରି ଶ୍ୱେତ ଥିଲା; ଏକ ଯୋଜନ ଦୂରରୁ ମଧ୍ୟ ସ୍ପଷ୍ଟ ଦିଶୁଥିଲା। ସେଠାରେ କୌଣସି ତଙ୍ଗି କିମ୍ବା ସଂକୀର୍ଣ୍ଣତା ନଥିଲା; ସମସ୍ତଙ୍କ ଦ୍ୱାର ସମାନ ଓ ସୁସଜ୍ଜିତ ଥିଲା; ଏବଂ ପ୍ରତ୍ୟେକ ଗୃହ ବିଭିନ୍ନ ଗୁଣ—ସୁଖ-ସୁବିଧା—ରେ ଯୁକ୍ତ ଥିଲା, ଯାହା ଅତିଥି-ସତ୍କାରକୁ ମର୍ଯ୍ୟାଦା ଦେଉଥିଲା।
