Educational Q&A

As a colophon, the verse primarily signals completion, but it also frames conquest as a structured, accountable royal undertaking within a larger ethical-political narrative—expansion is presented as part of establishing recognized sovereignty rather than mere violence.

The text closes the chapter describing Nakula’s western campaign (pratīcī-vijaya) within the Digvijaya sequence of Sabhā Parva, indicating that this episode of directional conquest has concluded.
