Educational Q&A

The verse highlights how grief and attachment can crystallize into entrenched hostility (vaira-nirbandha), warning that revenge-driven fixation becomes a powerful ethical and narrative force that perpetuates conflict.

After Kaṃsa is killed by Kṛṣṇa (Vāsudeva’s son), a person connected to Kaṃsa develops a firm, binding enmity toward Kṛṣṇa, indicating the escalation of hostilities that will influence subsequent events.
