वध्यतां राजपुत्राणां क्रन्दतामितरेतरम् । प्रादुरासीन्महाशब्दो भीरूणां भयवर्धन:,बाणोंकी चोट खाकर परस्पर क्रन्दन करते हुए राजकुमारोंका महान् शब्द सुनायी पड़ता था, जो कायरोंका भय बढ़ानेवाला था
vadhyatāṁ rājaputrāṇāṁ krandatām itaretaram | prādurāsīn mahāśabdo bhīrūṇāṁ bhayavardhanaḥ ||
ସଞ୍ଜୟ କହିଲେ—ବାଣାଘାତରେ ପୀଡିତ ହୋଇ ରାଜପୁତ୍ରମାନେ ବଧ ହେଉଥିଲେ ଏବଂ ପରସ୍ପରକୁ ଡାକି କ୍ରନ୍ଦନ କରୁଥିଲେ; ସେତେବେଳେ ଭୀରୁମାନଙ୍କ ଭୟ ବଢ଼ାଇଦେବା ଏକ ମହାଶବ୍ଦ ଉଦ୍ଭବ ହେଲା।
