नान्य: पाज्चाल्यपुत्रेभ्यो विद्यते भुवि पापकृत्‌ *वास्तवमें भीष्मका वध करनेवाला भी तेरा महान्‌ पापाचारी भाई ही है। इस पृथ्वीपर पांचालराजके पुत्रोंके सिवा दूसरा कोई ऐसा पाप करनेवाला नहीं है

Transliteration

nānyaḥ pāñcālyaputrebhyo vidyate bhuvi pāpakṛt

Translation

ସଞ୍ଜୟ କହିଲେ—ଏହି ପୃଥିବୀରେ ପାଞ୍ଚାଳୀଙ୍କ ପୁତ୍ରମାନଙ୍କୁ ଛାଡ଼ି ଏପରି ଘୋର ପାପକର୍ମ କରୁଥିବା ଅନ୍ୟ କେହି ନାହିଁ। ସତ୍ୟକଥା, ଭୀଷ୍ମବଧ କରିଥିବା ମଧ୍ୟ ତୋର ସେଇ ମହାପାପୀ ଭାଇ ହିଁ; ପାଞ୍ଚାଳରାଜଙ୍କ ପୁତ୍ରମାନଙ୍କ ବ୍ୟତୀତ ଏପରି ପାପକର୍ତ୍ତା ଏଠାରେ ନାହିଁ।
