यदवोचोडप्रियं भीम॑ नैतत् सत्यं वचस्तव । 'तूने युद्धमें संलग्न, श्रेष्ठ व्रतके पालनमें तत्पर, पराक्रमी और शूरवीर भीमसेनके प्रति जो अप्रिय वचन कहा है, तेरा यह कथन ठीक नहीं है
sañjaya uvāca | yad avoco 'priyaṃ bhīma naitat satyaṃ vacas tava |
ସଞ୍ଜୟ କହିଲେ—ଭୀମଙ୍କ ପ୍ରତି ତୁ ଯେ ଅପ୍ରିୟ ବଚନ କହିଲୁ, ସେହି କଥା ସତ୍ୟ ନୁହେଁ; ତୋର ଏହି କଥନ ଯୁକ୍ତିଯୁକ୍ତ ନୁହେଁ। ଯୁଦ୍ଧରେ ସଂଲଗ୍ନ, ଶ୍ରେଷ୍ଠ ବ୍ରତରେ ଅଟୁଟ, ପରାକ୍ରମଶାଳୀ ଓ ଶୂର ଭୀମସେନଙ୍କ ପ୍ରତି ଏପରି ବାଣୀ ଶୋଭା ପାଉନାହିଁ।
