बह्नबद्धमकर्ण्य च चापलादपरीक्षितम् | 'सूतपुत्र! तेरी बुद्धि बहुत ओछी है। इसीलिये तू चपलतावश बिना जाँचे-बूझे बहुत-सी न सुननेयोग्य असम्बद्ध बातें बक जाया करता है
bahnabaddham akarṇya ca cāpalād aparīkṣitam |
ସଞ୍ଜୟ କହିଲେ—ଚପଳତାବଶତଃ ପରୀକ୍ଷା ନ କରି କହାଯାଇଥିବା ଅନେକ ଅସମ୍ବଦ୍ଧ ଓ ଅଶ୍ରାବ୍ୟ କଥା ଶୁଣି ସେ ତାହାକୁ ‘ଶୁଣିବାଯୋଗ୍ୟ ନୁହେଁ’ ବୋଲି ନିନ୍ଦା କଲା। ଏବଂ କହିଲା—“ସୂତପୁତ୍ର! ତୋର ବୁଦ୍ଧି ଅତି ନୀଚ; ସେହିପାଇଁ ତୁ ଅବିବେକରେ ଚପଳ ହୋଇ ଅନେକ ଅଶ୍ରାବ୍ୟ, ଅସମ୍ବଦ୍ଧ କଥା ପ୍ରଲାପ କରୁଛୁ।”
