समाश्चस्य च हार्दिक्यो गृह चान्यन्महद् धनु: । तस्थौ स तत्र बलवान् वारयन् युधि पाण्डवान्
samāścāsya ca hārdikyo gṛhe cānyan mahad dhanuḥ | tasthau sa tatra balavān vārayann yudhi pāṇḍavān ||
ଅନ୍ୟପଟେ ହାର୍ଦିକ୍ୟ କୃତବର୍ମା ସମାଶ୍ୱସ୍ତ ହୋଇ ଅନ୍ୟ ଏକ ମହାଧନୁ ଧରି ସେଠାରେ ବଳବାନ ଭାବେ ଦଢ଼ ହୋଇ ଯୁଦ୍ଧରେ ପାଣ୍ଡବମାନଙ୍କୁ ରୋକିଲେ।
संजय उवाच
The verse underscores steadiness and the performance of one’s martial role: even after being shaken, a warrior regains composure, takes up his weapon again, and fulfills his duty on the battlefield.
Sañjaya reports that Kṛtavarmā, identified as Hārdikya, becomes reassured, takes another large bow in hand, and stands his ground, actively resisting the Pāṇḍavas in the ongoing combat.
