When rulers cling to bias, envy, and moral indecision, conflict becomes the natural outcome of adharma; divine wisdom is portrayed as recognizing this reality and permitting consequences to ripen, rather than endorsing injustice.
Sañjaya tells Dhṛtarāṣṭra that Vāsudeva (Kṛṣṇa), described as omniscient and sovereign, ‘brought about’ the great Kuru war—framed as arising after Kṛṣṇa discerned the king’s entrenched partiality and hostility toward the Pāṇḍavas.
