विद्रुतान्‌ रथिनो दृष्टवा निरुत्साहान्‌ द्विषज्जये । पलायनकृतोत्साहान्‌ मन्ये शोचन्ति पुत्रका:

Transliteration

vidrutān rathino dṛṣṭvā nirutsāhān dviṣajjaye | palāyanakṛtotsāhān manye śocanti putrakāḥ ||

Translation

ଶତ୍ରୁଜୟ ପାଇଁ ଉତ୍ସାହହୀନ ହୋଇ ରଥୀମାନେ ଦୌଡ଼ି ପଳାଉଥିବାକୁ, ଏବଂ ପଳାୟନରେ ହିଁ ଯେନ ଶୌର୍ଯ୍ୟ ଦେଖାଉଥିବାକୁ ଦେଖି, ମୋ ପୁଅମାନେ ଶୋକ କରୁଛନ୍ତି ବୋଲି ମୁଁ ଭାବୁଛି।
