भ्रात्रा प्रस्थापितो वीर: स्वेनानीकेन दंशित: । प्रययौ पुरुषव्याप्र: स्वसैन्यं स विषादयन्
bhrātrā prasthāpito vīraḥ svenānīkena daṃśitaḥ | prayayau puruṣavyāghraḥ svasainyaṃ sa viṣādayan ||
ସଞ୍ଜୟ କହିଲେ—ଭ୍ରାତାଙ୍କ ଦ୍ୱାରା ପ୍ରେରିତ ଓ ପଠାଯାଇଥିବା ସେ ଯୋଧା, ନିଜ ସେନାବ୍ୟୂହର ଚାପରେ ଥିଲେ ମଧ୍ୟ, ପୁରୁଷବ୍ୟାଘ୍ର ପରି ପ୍ରଚଣ୍ଡ ବଳରେ ଆଗକୁ ବଢ଼ିଲା। ଦ୍ରୋଣାଚାର୍ଯ୍ୟଙ୍କ ବିଭାଗ ଦିଗକୁ ଧାଇଯାଉଥିବାବେଳେ ସେ କୌରବସେନାକୁ ବିଷାଦଗ୍ରସ୍ତ କରୁଥିଲା, କାରଣ ଭୀଷ୍ମପତନ ତାଙ୍କ ଧୈର୍ଯ୍ୟକୁ କମ୍ପାଇଦେଇଥିଲା।
