बहुधा भीष्ममानर्च्छुर्मार्गणै: क्षतमार्गणै: । ये सभी वीर सुदृढ़ धनुष धारण करनेवाले और युद्धसे कभी पीछे न हटनेवाले थे। इन्होंने शत्रुओंके बाणोंको नष्ट करनेवाले सायकोंद्वारा भीष्मको बारंबार पीड़ित किया

Transliteration

sañjaya uvāca | bahudhā bhīṣmam ānarccur mārgaṇaiḥ kṣatamārgaṇaiḥ |

Translation

ସଞ୍ଜୟ କହିଲେ—ସେମାନେ ପୁନଃପୁନ ଭୀଷ୍ମଙ୍କୁ ବାଣବର୍ଷାରେ ଆକ୍ରମଣ କଲେ—ମାର୍ଗରେ ହିଁ କ୍ଷତବିକ୍ଷତ ହୋଇଥିବା ବାଣ ନିଏ ମଧ୍ୟ। ସେମାନେ ସମସ୍ତେ ଦୃଢ଼ ଧନୁ ଧାରଣକାରୀ, ଯୁଦ୍ଧରୁ କେବେ ପଛୁଆ ନହେବା ବୀର; ଶତ୍ରୁବାଣ ନାଶକ ସାୟକଦ୍ୱାରା ସେମାନେ ଭୀଷ୍ମଙ୍କୁ ବାରମ୍ବାର ପୀଡ଼ିତ କଲେ।
