तत्र कार्यतमं मन्ये भीष्मस्यैवाभिरक्षणम् | गोप्ता होष महेष्वासो भीष्मो5स्माकं महाव्रत:,“अतः इस अवसरपर मैं भीष्मजीकी रक्षाको ही प्रधान कार्य समझता हूँ; क्योंकि ये महाव्रती महाधनुर्धर भीष्म हमलोगोंके रक्षक हैं
tatra kāryatamaṃ manye bhīṣmasyaivābhirakṣaṇam | goptā hoṣa maheṣvāso bhīṣmo 'smākaṃ mahāvrataḥ ||
ସେଠାରେ ମୁଁ ସବୁଠାରୁ ପ୍ରଧାନ କାର୍ଯ୍ୟ ଭାବେ ଭୀଷ୍ମଙ୍କ ରକ୍ଷାକୁ ମନେ କରେ; କାରଣ ଏହି ମହାବ୍ରତୀ ମହାଧନୁର୍ଧର ଭୀଷ୍ମ ଆମ ପକ୍ଷର ରକ୍ଷକ।
