सरांसि सरितश्नैव वनान्युपवनानि च । अत्यक्रामन्महाराजो गिरिं चाप्यन्वपद्यत
sarāṃsi saritaś caiva vanāny upavanāni ca | atyakrāman mahārājo giriṃ cāpy anvapadyata ||
ବୈଶମ୍ପାୟନ କହିଲେ— ସେ ମହାରାଜ ସରୋବର ଓ ନଦୀମାନଙ୍କୁ ଅତିକ୍ରମ କରି, ବନ ଓ ଉପବନ ମଧ୍ୟଦିଆଁ ଆଗେଇ ଗଲେ; ପର୍ବତମାର୍ଗକୁ ମଧ୍ୟ ଅନୁସରଣ କରି ନିଜ ରାଜଯାତ୍ରାରେ ଅବିଚଳ ଭାବେ ଅଗ୍ରସର ହେଲେ।
वैशम्पायन उवाच
The verse highlights steadfastness and disciplined forward movement in a king’s duty: he continues his appointed course despite varied terrains, suggesting that righteous undertakings require endurance and orderly progress.
Vaiśampāyana describes the great king’s onward journey: he traverses lakes, rivers, forests, and groves, and then continues along/through a mountainous region as part of the unfolding events in the Aśvamedhika Parva.
