Transliteration

vaiśampāyana uvāca | dīnāndhakṛpaṇādibhyo dīyamānena cāniśam | babhau paramakalyāṇo mahastasya mahāgireḥ ||

Translation

ବୈଶମ୍ପାୟନ କହିଲେ—ଦୀନ, ଅନ୍ଧ, ଦରିଦ୍ର ଆଦିମାନଙ୍କୁ ଅବିରତ ଦାନ ଓ ଅନ୍ନ-ପାନ ଦିଆଯାଉଥିବାରୁ, ସେଇ ମହାପର୍ବତର ମହୋତ୍ସବ ପରମ କଲ୍ୟାଣମୟ ଭାବେ ଶୋଭିତ ହେଉଥିଲା।
