मधुरास्तु कथाश्षित्राश्षित्रार्थपदनिश्चया: । निश्चयज्ञ: स पार्थाय कथयामास केशव:

Transliteration

vaiśampāyana uvāca |

madhurās tu kathāś citrāś citrārthapadaniścayāḥ |

niścayajñaḥ sa pārthāya kathayāmāsa keśavaḥ ||

Translation

ବୈଶମ୍ପାୟନ କହିଲେ—ସେଇ କଥାମାନେ ଶୁଣିବାକୁ ମଧୁର, ବିଭିନ୍ନ ଓ ସୁନିର୍ବାଚିତ ପଦଦ୍ୱାରା ଅର୍ଥନିଶ୍ଚୟକୁ ଦୃଢ଼ କରୁଥିଲା। ନିଶ୍ଚୟଜ୍ଞ କେଶବ ସେଗୁଡ଼ିକୁ ପାର୍ଥଙ୍କୁ କହିଲେ।
