अश्रमवासिनां विषादः — Lament in Hastināpura after the Elders’ Forest Withdrawal
यन्मे समागमोउद्येह भवद्धिः सह साधुभि: । 'भगवन्! आज मैं धन्य हूँ, आपलोगोंकी कृपाका पात्र हूँ तथा मेरा यह जीवन भी सफल है; क्योंकि आज यहाँ आप-जैसे साधु-महात्माओंका समागम मुझे प्राप्त हुआ है
yān me samāgamo ’dyeha bhavadbhiḥ saha sādhubhiḥ | bhagavan, adya ahaṃ dhanyo ’smi, āpāṃ kṛpā-pātraṃ ca, tathā mama jīvitam api saphalaṃ; yato ’dya iha bhavat-sadṛśa-sādhu-mahātmānāṃ samāgamo me prāptaḥ ||
ବୈଶମ୍ପାୟନ କହିଲେ—ଆଜି ମୁଁ ଧନ୍ୟ, ଆପଣମାନଙ୍କ କୃପାର ପାତ୍ର, ଏବଂ ମୋ ଜୀବନ ସଫଳ; କାରଣ ଆଜି ଏଠାରେ ଆପଣମାନଙ୍କ ପରି ସାଧୁ-ମହାତ୍ମାମାନଙ୍କ ସମାଗମ ମୋତେ ମିଳିଛି।
