जगमदग्निर्वाच स्थिरं चापि चल॑ चापि जाने त्वां ज्ञानचक्षुषा | अवश्यं विनयाधान कार्यमद्य मया तव

Transliteration

Jamadagnir uvāca: sthiraṁ cāpi calaṁ cāpi jāne tvāṁ jñānacakṣuṣā | avaśyaṁ vinayādhānaṁ kāryam adya mayā tava ||

Translation

ଜମଦଗ୍ନି କହିଲେ—ତୋର ଲକ୍ଷ୍ୟ ସ୍ଥିର ହେଉ କି ଚଞ୍ଚଳ, ଜ୍ଞାନଦୃଷ୍ଟିରେ ମୁଁ ତୋତେ ଚିହ୍ନିଛି—ତୁ ହେଉଛୁ ସୂର୍ଯ୍ୟ। ତେଣୁ ଆଜି ମୁଁ ନିଶ୍ଚୟ ତୋତେ ଦଣ୍ଡ ଦେଇ, ବିନୟ ଓ ସଦାଚାରରେ ପ୍ରତିଷ୍ଠିତ କରିବି।
