छत्रोपानहदानफलप्रशंसा — Praise of the Merit of Donating Umbrella and Footwear
जातकर्माणि सर्वाणि व्रतोपनयनानि च । गोदानानि विवाहाश्न तथा यज्ञसमृद्धयः
jātakarmāṇi sarvāṇi vratopanayanāni ca | godānāni vivāhāś ca tathā yajñasamṛddhayaḥ ||
ଭୀଷ୍ମ କହିଲେ—ଜାତକର୍ମ ଆଦି ସମସ୍ତ ସଂସ୍କାର, ବ୍ରତ, ଉପନୟନ, ଗୋଦାନ, ବିବାହ ଏବଂ ଯଜ୍ଞର ସମୃଦ୍ଧି—ଏ ସବୁ କାର୍ଯ୍ୟ ଅନ୍ନର ଆଧାରରେ ହିଁ ସିଦ୍ଧ ହୁଏ; କାରଣ ପ୍ରାଣୀମାନଙ୍କ ଧାରଣ ଅନ୍ନରେ ନିର୍ଭର।
