कृत्वाग्नौकरणं पूर्व मन्त्रपूर्व तपोधन । ततो5ग्नये5थ सोमाय वरुणाय च नित्यश:

Transliteration

kṛtvāgnaukaraṇaṃ pūrvaṃ mantrapūrva tapodhana | tato 'gnaye 'tha somāya varuṇāya ca nityaśaḥ ||

Translation

ଭୀଷ୍ମ କହିଲେ—ହେ ତପୋଧନ, ବେଦମନ୍ତ୍ର ଉଚ୍ଚାରଣପୂର୍ବକ ପ୍ରଥମେ ଅଗ୍ନୌକରଣ କ୍ରିୟା ସମ୍ପୂର୍ଣ୍ଣ କରି, ତାପରେ ନିତ୍ୟ ଅଗ୍ନି, ସୋମ ଓ ବରୁଣଙ୍କୁ ତାଙ୍କ ନିର୍ଦ୍ଧାରିତ ଭାଗ ବିଧିପୂର୍ବକ ଅର୍ପଣ କର; ଏହି କ୍ରମରେ ପୂଜା କରି ଧର୍ମର ଆଧାର ଦେବଶକ୍ତିକୁ ଧାରଣ କର।
