तद्‌ वै सर्वानतिक्रम्य देवदानवराक्षसान्‌ | मानुषानथ गन्धर्वान्‌ नागानथ च पक्षिण:

Transliteration

tad vai sarvān atikramya devadānavarākṣasān | mānuṣān atha gandharvān nāgān atha ca pakṣiṇaḥ ||

Translation

ଭୀଷ୍ମ କହିଲେ— “ସେ ଦେବ, ଦାନବ, ରାକ୍ଷସ, ମନୁଷ୍ୟ, ଗନ୍ଧର୍ବ, ନାଗ ଓ ପକ୍ଷୀ— ସମସ୍ତଙ୍କୁ ଅତିକ୍ରମ କରି— ନିଜ ଅମୋଘ ଅସ୍ତ୍ରଶକ୍ତିରେ ଯାହାଠାରୁ ତୁମମାନଙ୍କର ଭୟ ଉତ୍ପନ୍ନ ହୋଇଛି ସେଇ ଅସୁରକୁ ବଧ କରିବ; ଏବଂ ଅନ୍ୟ ଦେବଶତ୍ରୁମାନଙ୍କୁ ମଧ୍ୟ ସଂହାର କରିଦେବ।”
