Pitṛ-śrāddha-haviḥ-phala-nirdeśa

तेजकी राशिभूत अग्निदेवका तुम सब लोग शीघ्र अन्वेषण करो। वे तुम्हारी मनोवांछित कामनाको पूर्ण करेंगे ।।

Transliteration

etad vākyam upaśrutya tato devā mahātmanaḥ | jagmuḥ saṃsiddha-saṅkalpāḥ paryeṣanto vibhāvasum ||

Translation

ଭୀଷ୍ମ କହିଲେ: ତୁମେ ସମସ୍ତେ ତେଜର ରାଶିସ୍ୱରୂପ ଅଗ୍ନିଦେବଙ୍କୁ ଶୀଘ୍ର ଅନ୍ୱେଷଣ କର; ସେ ତୁମ ମନୋବାଞ୍ଛିତ କାମନାକୁ ପୂରଣ କରିବେ। ମହାତ୍ମାଙ୍କ ଏହି ବାକ୍ୟ ଶୁଣି ଦେବତାମାନେ—ସଙ୍କଳ୍ପରେ ଦୃଢ଼ ଓ ସଫଳତାରେ ନିଶ୍ଚିତ—ସେଠାରୁ ବିଭାବସୁ (ଅଗ୍ନି)ଙ୍କ ଖୋଜରେ ପ୍ରସ୍ଥାନ କଲେ।
