अग्न्यभावे च कुरुते वह्निस्थानेषु काउ्चनम् | जामदग्न्य प्रमाणज्ञो वेदश्रुतिनिदर्शनात्
agnyabhāve ca kurute vahnistāneṣu kāñcanam | jāmadagnyaḥ pramāṇajño vedaśrutinidarśanāt ||
ବସିଷ୍ଠ କହିଲେ—ଅଗ୍ନି ନଥିଲେ, ଯେଉଁଠାରେ ଅଗ୍ନିର ସ୍ଥାନ ନିର୍ଦ୍ଦିଷ୍ଟ, ସେଠାରେ ସୁବର୍ଣ୍ଣର ବ୍ୟବହାର କରାଯାଇପାରେ; ବେଦ-ଶ୍ରୁତିର ଦୃଷ୍ଟାନ୍ତ ଏହାକୁ ପ୍ରମାଣ କରେ। ହେ ଜାମଦଗ୍ନ୍ୟ ପରଶୁରାମ, ପ୍ରମାଣଜ୍ଞ ପୁରୁଷ ଏହିପରି କରେ।
