Śrāddha-Kalpa: Pitṛ-Pūjā and Tithi-Phala (श्राद्धकल्पः पितृपूजा च तिथिफलम्)
ते दीनमनस: सर्वे देवता ऋषयश्न ये । प्रजग्मु: शरण देवं ब्रह्माणमजरं विभुम्,वे सब देवता और ऋषि दीनचित्त हो अजर-अमर एवं सर्वव्यापी देवता भगवान् ब्रह्माकी शरणमें गये
te dīna-manasaḥ sarve devatā ṛṣayaś ca ye | prajagmuḥ śaraṇaṃ devaṃ brahmāṇam ajaraṃ vibhum ||
ଭୀଷ୍ମ କହିଲେ—ସମସ୍ତ ଦେବତା ଓ ଋଷି ଦୀନମନ ହୋଇ ଅଜର ଓ ସର୍ବବ୍ୟାପୀ ଦେବ ବ୍ରହ୍ମାଙ୍କ ଶରଣକୁ ଗଲେ; ସଙ୍କଟକାଳରେ ରକ୍ଷା ଓ ପଥପ୍ରଦର୍ଶନ ଯାଚନା କଲେ।
