Karma-Phala Rahasya and the Ethics of Dāna (कर्मफल-रहस्यं दानधर्मश्च)
अचोटद्यमानानि यथा पुष्पाणि च फलानि च । स्वकाल नातिवर्तन्ते तथा कर्म पुरा कृतम्
acoṭadyamānāni yathā puṣpāṇi ca phalāni ca | svakālaṃ nātivartante tathā karma purā kṛtam ||
ଭୀଷ୍ମ କହିଲେ— ଫୁଲ ଓ ଫଳ କାହାର ପ୍ରେରଣା ନଥିଲେ ମଧ୍ୟ ନିଜ ନିର୍ଦ୍ଧାରିତ ସମୟକୁ ଅତିକ୍ରମ କରେ ନାହିଁ; ଯଥାସମୟରେ ଫୁଟେ ଓ ପାକେ। ସେପରି ପୂର୍ବକୃତ କର୍ମ ମଧ୍ୟ ନିଜ ସମୟରେ ନିଶ୍ଚୟ ଫଳ ଦେଇଥାଏ।
