इष्टं दत्त च मन्येथा आत्मानं दानकर्मणा | पूजयेथा यायजूकांस्तवाप्यंशो भवेद् यथा
iṣṭaṃ datta ca manyethā ātmānaṃ dānakarmaṇā | pūjayethā yāyajūkāṃs tavāpy aṃśo bhaved yathā ||
ଦାନକର୍ମ ଦ୍ୱାରା ନିଜକୁ ଯଜ୍ଞ ଓ ଦାନର ପୁଣ୍ୟର ଭାଗୀ ଭାବ। ଯଜ୍ଞ କରାଉଥିବା ବ୍ରାହ୍ମଣମାନଙ୍କୁ ସଦା ସମ୍ମାନ କର; ଏହାଦ୍ୱାରା ତୁମେ ମଧ୍ୟ ଯଜ୍ଞଫଳର ଏକ ଅଂଶ ପାଇବ।
