The Pre-eminence of Land-Gift
अतीतानागते चोभे पितृवंशं च भारत । तारयेद् वृक्षरोपी च तस्माद् वक्षांश्ष रोपयेत्
atītānāgate cobhe pitṛvaṁśaṁ ca bhārata | tārayet vṛkṣaropī ca tasmād vṛkṣāṁś ca ropayet bharatanandana ||
ହେ ଭାରତ! ବୃକ୍ଷ ରୋପଣକାରୀ ପୁରୁଷ ଅତୀତରେ ଗତ ପୂର୍ବଜମାନଙ୍କୁ ଓ ଭବିଷ୍ୟତରେ ହେବା ସନ୍ତାନମାନଙ୍କୁ—ଉଭୟଙ୍କୁ, ଏବଂ ସମଗ୍ର ପିତୃବଂଶକୁ ମଧ୍ୟ ତାରେ। ତେଣୁ, ହେ ଭରତନନ୍ଦନ, ବୃକ୍ଷ ନିଶ୍ଚୟ ରୋପଣ କରିବା ଉଚିତ।
