अध्याय ५६ — च्यवन–कुशिकसंवादः
Cyavana–Kuśika Dialogue on Lineage, Conflict, and Transmission
ततस्तु तौ नवमभिवीक्ष्य यौवन परस्परं विगतरुजाविवामरौ । ननन्दतु: शयनगतौ वपुर्धरी श्रिया युतौ द्विजवरदत्तया तदा
tatastu tau navam abhivīkṣya yauvanaṁ parasparaṁ vigatarujāv ivāmarau | nanandatuḥ śayanagatau vapurdharī śriyā yutau dvijavaradattayā tadā ||
ତେବେ ସେହି ପତି-ପତ୍ନୀ ପରସ୍ପରରେ ନବଯୌବନର ଉଦୟ ଦେଖି, ରୋଗରହିତ ଦେବତାମାନଙ୍କ ପରି ପ୍ରତୀତ ହେଲେ। ଶୟ୍ୟାରେ ଥିବାବେଳେ ମଧ୍ୟ ସେମାନେ ଅତ୍ୟନ୍ତ ଆନନ୍ଦିତ ହେଲେ। ଦ୍ୱିଜଶ୍ରେଷ୍ଠ ଚ୍ୟବନଙ୍କ ଦାନ କରା ଶ୍ରୀ-ଶୋଭାରେ ଯୁକ୍ତ ନୂତନ ଦେହ ଧାରଣ କରି ସେହି ଦମ୍ପତି ହର୍ଷରେ ପରିପୂର୍ଣ୍ଣ ହେଲେ।
भीष्म उवाच
Righteous living and respectful receptivity to a sage’s guidance can yield tangible well-being; the verse highlights how anugraha (grace) received in a dharmic manner brings health, beauty, and harmony rather than mere sensual gain.
A husband and wife, newly rejuvenated through the boon/aid of the foremost brahmin sage (Cyavana), look at each other and recognize renewed youth; free from illness like the gods, they lie on their bed and rejoice in their restored vitality and splendor.
