Strī-satkāra (On honoring women) — Mahābhārata 13.46
देवशर्मोवाच यद् वै तन्मिथुन ब्रह्मन्नहोरात्र हि विद्धि तत् । चक्रवत् परिवर्तेत तत् ते जानाति दुष्कृतम्
devaśarmovāca—yad vai tan mithunaṁ brahman ahorātre hi viddhi tat | cakravat parivarteta tat te jānāti duṣkṛtam ||
ଦେବଶର୍ମା କହିଲେ—ହେ ବ୍ରାହ୍ମଣ! ତୁମେ ଯେ ସ୍ତ୍ରୀ-ପୁରୁଷ ଯୁଗଳକୁ ଦେଖିଥିଲ, ସେହିଟି ଦିନ ଓ ରାତି ବୋଲି ଜାଣ। ସେମାନେ ଚକ୍ରବତ୍ ପରିଭ୍ରମଣ କରନ୍ତି; ତେଣୁ ତୁମ ଦୁଷ୍କୃତ୍ୟ ସେମାନେ ଜାଣନ୍ତି।
