अतोडन्यथा वर्तमाना: सर्वे नाहन्ति सत्क्रियाम्‌ । तस्मान्नित्यं परीक्षेत पुरुषान्‌ प्रणिधाय वै

Transliteration

atoḍa-nyathā vartamānāḥ sarve nāhanti satkriyām | tasmān nityaṃ parīkṣeta puruṣān praṇidhāya vai ||

Translation

ଭୀଷ୍ମ କହିଲେ— “ଯେମାନେ ନିୟମ-ସଂଯମର ବିପରୀତ ଆଚରଣ କରନ୍ତି, ସେମାନେ ସତ୍କ୍ରିୟାକୁ ଧାରଣ କରନ୍ତି ନାହିଁ। ତେଣୁ ସାବଧାନ ଓ ଏକାଗ୍ର ଚିତ୍ତରେ ମନୁଷ୍ୟମାନଙ୍କୁ ନିତ୍ୟ ପରୀକ୍ଷା କରିବା ଉଚିତ।”
