स्वमपत्यं विशिष्ट हि सर्व इच्छत्यनाविलम्‌ । व्यक्त भगवता चात्र कृतमेवं भविष्यति

Transliteration

svam apatyaṁ viśiṣṭa hi sarva icchaty anāvilam | vyaktaṁ bhagavatā cātra kṛtam evaṁ bhaviṣyati ||

Translation

ଭୀଷ୍ମ କହିଲେ—ନିଶ୍ଚୟ ହିଁ ସମସ୍ତେ ନିଜ ପାଇଁ ନିର୍ମଳ ଓ ବିଶିଷ୍ଟ ସନ୍ତାନକୁ ଆକାଂକ୍ଷା କରନ୍ତି। ତେଣୁ ସ୍ପଷ୍ଟ ଯେ ଏଠାରେ ଭଗବାନ ଋଚୀକ ମଧ୍ୟ ଫଳ ଏମିତି ହେବାକୁ ନିଶ୍ଚିତ କରି ଏହି ବ୍ୟବସ୍ଥା କରିଥିବେ।
