ऋचीक उवाच कि प्रयच्छामि राजेन्द्र तुभ्यं शुल्कमहं नूप । दुहितुर्ब्रहयासंसक्तो माभूत्‌ तत्र विचारणा

Transliteration

ṛcīka uvāca | kiṁ prayacchāmi rājendra tubhyaṁ śulkam ahaṁ nṛpa | duhiturbrahmayāsaṁsaktaḥ mā bhūt tatra vicāraṇā ||

Translation

ଋଚୀକ କହିଲେ—ରାଜେନ୍ଦ୍ର! ଆପଣଙ୍କ କନ୍ୟା ପାଇଁ ମୁଁ ଆପଣଙ୍କୁ କେଉଁ ଶୁଳ୍କ ଦେବି? ନରେଶ୍ୱର! ନିଃସଙ୍କୋଚରେ କହନ୍ତୁ; ମୋର ବ୍ରହ୍ମନିଷ୍ଠା ଦେଖି ଏଠାରେ କୌଣସି ସନ୍ଦେହ କିମ୍ବା ଅନ୍ୟଥା ଭାବନା କରିବେ ନାହିଁ।
