अशव्यं स्प्रष्टमाकाशमचाल्यो हिमवान् गिरि: | अधार्या सेतुना गड्ढा दुर्जया ब्राह्मणा भुवि
bhīṣma uvāca | aśavyaṃ spraṣṭum ākāśam acālyo himavān giriḥ | adhāryā setunā gaḍḍhā durjayā brāhmaṇā bhuvi ||
ଭୀଷ୍ମ କହିଲେ—ଆକାଶକୁ ସ୍ପର୍ଶ କରିବା ଅସମ୍ଭବ; ହିମାଳୟ ପର୍ବତକୁ କମ୍ପାଇବା ଅସମ୍ଭବ; ଏବଂ ବନ୍ଧ ବାନ୍ଧି ଗଭୀର ଖାଇ/ପ୍ରବାହକୁ ରୋକିବା ମଧ୍ୟ ଅସମ୍ଭବ। ସେହିପରି ଏହି ପୃଥିବୀରେ ବ୍ରାହ୍ମଣମାନେ ସର୍ବଥା ଅଜେୟ; ତାଙ୍କୁ ଦମନ ନୁହେଁ, ଧର୍ମାନୁସାରେ ସମ୍ମାନ ଓ ସମର୍ଥନ କରିବା ଉଚିତ।
