ऋग्गवेदे वर्तते चाग्रया श्रुतिर्यस्थ महात्मन:

Transliteration

ṛgvede vartate cāgrayā śrutir yatra mahātmanaḥ |

Translation

ଋଗ୍ବେଦରେ ସେହି ମହାତ୍ମାଙ୍କ ସହ ସମ୍ବନ୍ଧିତ ଏକ ଶ୍ରେଷ୍ଠ ଓ ଅଗ୍ରଗଣ୍ୟ ଶ୍ରୁତି ପ୍ରସିଦ୍ଧ। ରାଜନ, ସେଠାରେ ବ୍ରାହ୍ମଣମାନେ ଋଷି ଗୃତ୍ସମଦଙ୍କୁ ଅତ୍ୟନ୍ତ ସମ୍ମାନ କରନ୍ତି; ବ୍ରହ୍ମର୍ଷି ଗୃତ୍ସମଦ ତେଜସ୍ବୀ ଓ ବ୍ରହ୍ମଚର୍ୟ-ନିଷ୍ଠ ଥିଲେ।
