Tīrtha-vaṃśa Upadeśa: Instruction on the Fruits of Sacred Waters
नान्यत्र ब्राह्मणोश्रीयात् पूर्व विप्रेण केतित: । यवीयान् पशुहिंसायां तुल्यधर्मो भवेत् स हि
nānyatra brāhmaṇośrīyāt pūrvaṁ vipreṇa ketitaḥ | yavīyān paśuhiṁsāyāṁ tulyadharmo bhavet sa hi ||
ଭୀଷ୍ମ କହିଲେ—ଯଦି କୌଣସି ବ୍ରାହ୍ମଣଙ୍କୁ ପୂର୍ବରୁ ଅନ୍ୟ ଜଣେ ବ୍ରାହ୍ମଣ ଶ୍ରାଦ୍ଧ ପାଇଁ ନିମନ୍ତ୍ରଣ ଦେଇଥାନ୍ତି, ତେବେ ସେ ନିମନ୍ତ୍ରିତ ବ୍ରାହ୍ମଣ ଅନ୍ୟତ୍ର ଯାଇ ଭୋଜନ କରିବା ଉଚିତ ନୁହେଁ। ଯଦି ସେ ଏପରି କରେ, ତେବେ ସେ ହୀନ ଭାବେ ଗଣାଯାଏ ଏବଂ ତାହାର ଦୋଷ ପଶୁହିଂସା ସମାନ ବୋଲି ଧରାଯାଏ।
