नतु वक्षिन्नयेत् प्राज्ञो गृहीत्वैव करे नरम् । उच्यमानस्तु धर्मेण धर्मलोकभयच्छले
na tu vakṣy nayed prājño gṛhītvāiva kare naram | ucyamānas tu dharmeṇa dharmalokabhayacchale ||
ଭୀଷ୍ମ କହିଲେ—କେତେ ପ୍ରାଜ୍ଞ ହେଲେ ମଧ୍ୟ, କାହାର ହାତ ଧରି ବଳପୂର୍ବକ ତାକୁ ଧର୍ମପଥରେ ଲଗାଇ ପାରେ ନାହିଁ। କିନ୍ତୁ ନ୍ୟାୟାନୁସାରେ ଧର୍ମକଥା କହି, ଲୋକନିନ୍ଦା-ଭୟକୁ ମଧ୍ୟ ଅବଲମ୍ବନ କରି, ତାକୁ ଧର୍ମାଚରଣ ପାଇଁ ପ୍ରେରିତ କରିପାରେ।
