वृद्धानां भारतप्तानां स्त्रीणां चक्रधरस्य च । ब्राह्मणानां गवां राज्ञां पन्थानं ददते च ये
vṛddhānāṃ bhārataptānāṃ strīṇāṃ cakradharasya ca | brāhmaṇānāṃ gavāṃ rājñāṃ panthānaṃ dadate ca ye ||
ଭୀଷ୍ମ କହିଲେ—ଯେମାନେ ବୃଦ୍ଧମାନଙ୍କୁ, ଭାରବହନରେ କ୍ଳାନ୍ତ ଲୋକଙ୍କୁ, ସ୍ତ୍ରୀମାନଙ୍କୁ, ଚକ୍ରଧାରୀକୁ (ରଥ/ଗାଡ଼ି ଚାଳକକୁ), ଏବଂ ବ୍ରାହ୍ମଣ, ଗୋ ଓ ରାଜାଙ୍କୁ ପଥ ଦେଇଦିଅନ୍ତି, ସେମାନେ ବିନୀତ ସାଧୁ ବୋଲି ଗଣ୍ୟ; ଲୋକାଚାର ମଧ୍ୟ ଧର୍ମ ଅଟେ।
