नित्येन ब्रह्मचर्येण लिड्रमस्य यदा स्थितम्‌ । महयत्यस्य लोकक्न प्रियं होतन्महात्मन:

Transliteration

nityena brahmacaryeṇa liṅgam asya yadā sthitam | mahayaty asya lokānāṁ priyaṁ hotaṁ mahātmanāḥ ||

Translation

ବାୟୁ କହିଲେ—ଯେ ମନୁଷ୍ୟ ନିତ୍ୟ ବ୍ରହ୍ମଚର୍ଯ୍ୟରେ ଦୃଢ଼ ରହି ପ୍ରତିଦିନ ଏହି ଶିବଲିଙ୍ଗକୁ ନିୟମିତ ପୂଜା କରେ, ସେ ମହାତ୍ମା ଶଙ୍କରଙ୍କୁ ଅତ୍ୟନ୍ତ ପ୍ରିୟ ହୁଏ; ଏହା ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କର ମର୍ଯ୍ୟାଦା ଓ କଲ୍ୟାଣ ବଢ଼ାଏ।
