ज्योतिर्भूत: परमोडसौ पुरस्तात्‌ प्रकाशते यत्प्रभया विश्वरूप: । अप: सृष्टवा सर्वभूतात्मयोनि: पुराकरोत्‌ सर्वमेवाथ विश्वम्‌

Transliteration

jyotirbhūtaḥ paramo 'sau purastāt prakāśate yatprabhayā viśvarūpaḥ | apaḥ sṛṣṭvā sarvabhūtātmayoniḥ purākarot sarvamevātha viśvam ||

Translation

ଭୀଷ୍ମ କହିଲେ—ସେ ପରମ ଜ୍ୟୋତି; ପୂର୍ବ ଦିଗରେ ବିଶ୍ୱରୂପ ଧାରଣ କରି ପ୍ରକାଶିତ ହୁଅନ୍ତି; ତାଙ୍କର ପ୍ରଭାରେ ସମଗ୍ର ଜଗତ ଆଲୋକିତ ହୁଏ। ସେ ସମସ୍ତ ପ୍ରାଣୀଙ୍କର ଅନ୍ତରାତ୍ମା ଓ ଉତ୍ପତ୍ତିସ୍ଥାନ। ପ୍ରାଚୀନ କାଳରେ ପ୍ରଥମେ ଜଳ ସୃଷ୍ଟି କରି ପରେ ସମଗ୍ର ବିଶ୍ୱକୁ ଉତ୍ପନ୍ନ କରିଥିଲେ।
