यदा धर्मों ग्लाति वंशे सुराणां तदा कृष्णो जायते मानुषेषु । धर्मे स्थित्वा स तु वै भावितात्मा परांक्ष लोकानपरांश्ष पाति
yadā dharmo glāti vaṁśe surāṇāṁ tadā kṛṣṇo jāyate mānuṣeṣu | dharme sthitvā sa tu vai bhāvitātmā parāṁś ca lokān aparāṁś ca pāti ||
ଯେତେବେଳେ ଦେବମାନଙ୍କ ବଂଶରେ ଧର୍ମର ହ୍ରାସ ହୁଏ, ସେତେବେଳେ ଶ୍ରୀକୃଷ୍ଣ ମନୁଷ୍ୟମାନଙ୍କ ମଧ୍ୟରେ ଜନ୍ମ ନେନ୍ତି। ଧର୍ମରେ ଦୃଢ଼, ଶୁଦ୍ଧ ଓ ଭାବିତ ଅନ୍ତଃକରଣବାନ ସେ ନିଜେ ଧର୍ମ ଆଚରଣ କରି ତାହାକୁ ପୁନଃସ୍ଥାପନ କରନ୍ତି ଏବଂ ପର ଓ ଅପର—ଦୁଇ ଲୋକକୁ ରକ୍ଷା କରନ୍ତି।
