भीष्म उवाच अत्राप्युदाहरन्तीममितिहासं पुरातनम्‌ । पवनस्य च संवादमर्जुनस्य च भारत

Transliteration

Bhīṣma uvāca: atrāpy udāharantīmam itihāsaṁ purātanam | pavanasya ca saṁvādam arjunasya ca bhārata ||

Translation

ଭୀଷ୍ମ କହିଲେ—ହେ ଭାରତ! ଏହି ବିଷୟରେ ମଧ୍ୟ ଜ୍ଞାନୀମାନେ ଏକ ପୁରାତନ ଇତିହାସର ଉଦାହରଣ ଦିଅନ୍ତି—ପବନଦେବ ଓ ଅର୍ଜୁନଙ୍କ ସଂବାଦ।
