अदैवं दैवतं कुर्युर्दवतं चाप्पदैवतम्‌ । लोकानन्यान्‌ सृजेयुस्ते लोकपालांश्ष कोपिता:

Transliteration

adaivaṃ daivataṃ kuryur daivataṃ cāpy adaivatam | lokān anyān sṛjeyus te lokapālāṃś ca kopitāḥ ||

Translation

ତପୋବଳରେ ବ୍ରାହ୍ମଣମାନେ ଯାହା ଦେବ ନୁହେଁ ତାହାକୁ ମଧ୍ୟ ଦେବ କରିପାରନ୍ତି; ଏବଂ କ୍ରୋଧିତ ହେଲେ ଦେବମାନଙ୍କୁ ମଧ୍ୟ ଦେବତ୍ୱରୁ ଚ୍ୟୁତ କରିପାରନ୍ତି। କ୍ରୋଧରେ ସେମାନେ ଅନ୍ୟ ଅନ୍ୟ ଲୋକ ଓ ଲୋକପାଳମାନଙ୍କୁ ମଧ୍ୟ ସୃଷ୍ଟି କରିପାରନ୍ତି।
