अप्रवृत्ताश्न ये लुब्धा नास्तिका दानवर्जिता: | एवंभूता नरा देवि निरयं यान्त्यबुद्धय:,देवि! ऐसे अकर्मण्य, लोभी, नास्तिक तथा दानधर्मसे दूर रहनेवाले बुद्धिहीन मनुष्य नरकमें पड़ते हैं

Transliteration

apravṛttāśn ye lubdhā nāstikā dānavarjitāḥ | evaṃbhūtā narā devi nirayaṃ yānty abuddhayaḥ ||

Translation

ଶ୍ରୀ ମହେଶ୍ୱର କହିଲେ— ହେ ଦେବୀ! ଯେମାନେ କର୍ମରେ ଅପ୍ରବୃତ୍ତ, ପରିଶ୍ରମକୁ ଅସ୍ୱୀକାର କରନ୍ତି, ଲୋଭୀ, ନାସ୍ତିକ ଏବଂ ଦାନଧର୍ମରୁ ଦୂରେ ରହନ୍ତି— ସେହି ବୁଦ୍ଧିହୀନ ଲୋକ ନରକକୁ ଯାଆନ୍ତି।
