।। विपरीतस्तु धर्मात्मा रूपवानभिजायते

Transliteration

viparītastu dharmātmā rūpavān abhijāyate | devi! hiṁsāpremī manuṣyaḥ svapāpakarmakāraṇād anyeṣāṁ vadhyaḥ sarvaprāṇinām apriyaś cālpāyuś ca bhavati ||

Translation

ମହେଶ୍ୱର କହିଲେ—ଯାହାର ସ୍ୱଭାବ ହିଂସାର ବିପରୀତ, ସେ ଧର୍ମାତ୍ମା ଓ ରୂପବାନ୍ ହୋଇ ଜନ୍ମ ନେଉଛି। ଦେବୀ! ହିଂସାରେ ରତ ମନୁଷ୍ୟ ନିଜ ପାପକର୍ମ ହେତୁ ଅନ୍ୟମାନଙ୍କ ଦ୍ୱାରା ବଧ୍ୟ ହୁଏ, ସମସ୍ତ ପ୍ରାଣୀଙ୍କୁ ଅପ୍ରିୟ ହୁଏ ଏବଂ ଅଳ୍ପାୟୁ ହୋଇ ଜନ୍ମେ।
