Śiva-darśana through Tapas and Stuti (उपमन्यु–कृष्ण संवादः)
उमोवाच एवं भविष्यत्यमरप्रभाव नाहं मृषा जातु वदे कदाचित् | भार्यासहस्राणि च षोडशैव तासु प्रियत्वं च तथाक्षयं च
umovāca—evaṁ bhaviṣyaty amaraprabhāva nāhaṁ mṛṣā jātu vade kadācit | bhāryāsahasrāṇi ca ṣoḍaśaiva tāsu priyatvaṁ ca tathākṣayaṁ ca ||
ଉମା କହିଲେ—“ଅମରମାନଙ୍କ ସମ ପ୍ରଭାବଶାଳୀ ହେ କୃଷ୍ଣ! ଏମିତି ହିଁ ହେବ। ମୁଁ କେବେ ମିଥ୍ୟା କହେନି। ତୁମର ଷୋଳହ ହଜାର ପତ୍ନୀ ହେବେ; ସେମାନଙ୍କ ମଧ୍ୟରେ ତୁମ ପ୍ରତି ପ୍ରେମ ଅକ୍ଷୟ ରହିବ, ଏବଂ ତୁମର ସମୃଦ୍ଧି ମଧ୍ୟ ଅକ୍ଷୟ ହେବ।”
