स्थण्डिले शुद्धमाकाशं परिगृह्म समनन््ततः: । प्रविश्य च मुदा युक्तो दीक्षां द्वादशवार्षिकीम्
sthaṇḍile śuddham ākāśaṃ parigṛhya samantataḥ | praviśya ca mudā yukto dīkṣāṃ dvādaśavārṣikīm ||
ମହାଦେବ କହିଲେ—ଶୁଦ୍ଧ କରାଯାଇଥିବା ସ୍ଥଣ୍ଡିଲ ଭୂମିରେ ଚାରିଦିଗରେ ପବିତ୍ର ଆକାଶ-ପ୍ରଦେଶକୁ ନିର୍ଦ୍ଧାରଣ କରି, ଆନନ୍ଦଯୁକ୍ତ ଓ ସଂଯତ ମନେ ତାହାରେ ପ୍ରବେଶ କରି, ଦ୍ୱାଦଶବର୍ଷୀୟ ଦୀକ୍ଷା-ବ୍ରତ ଗ୍ରହଣ କରିବା ଉଚିତ।
