उमोवाच भगवन् संशयो मे<स्ति तन्मे व्याख्यातुमरहसि । चातुर्वर्ण्यस्य धर्म वै नैपुण्येन प्रकीर्तय
umovāca bhagavan saṁśayo me 'sti tan me vyākhyātum arhasi | cāturvarṇyasya dharmo vai naipuṇyena prakīrtaya ||
ଉମା କହିଲେ—ଭଗବନ୍! ମୋ ମନରେ ଏପର୍ଯ୍ୟନ୍ତ ସନ୍ଦେହ ରହିଛି; ତେଣୁ ତାହାର ବ୍ୟାଖ୍ୟା କରି ମୋତେ ବୁଝାନ୍ତୁ। ଚାରି ବର୍ଣ୍ଣର ଧର୍ମକୁ ସମ୍ପୂର୍ଣ୍ଣ ଭାବେ ଓ ନିପୁଣତାରେ ପ୍ରକାଶ କରନ୍ତୁ।
