Śiva-nāmānukīrtana-prastāvaḥ
Prologue to the praise of Śiva and the Upamanyu testimony
रुद्रभवत्या तु कृष्णेन जगद् व्याप्तं महात्मना । त॑ं प्रसाद्य तदा देवं बदर्या किल भारत
rudrabhavatyā tu kṛṣṇena jagad vyāptaṃ mahātmanā | taṃ prasādya tadā devaṃ badaryā kila bhārata ||
ଭୀଷ୍ମ କହିଲେ—ରୁଦ୍ରଶକ୍ତିଯୁକ୍ତ ମହାତ୍ମା ଶ୍ରୀକୃଷ୍ଣ ଏହି ସମଗ୍ର ଜଗତକୁ ବ୍ୟାପି ରହିଛନ୍ତି। ହେ ଭାରତ! କୁହାଯାଏ, ପୂର୍ବକାଳରେ ବଦରୀରେ ମହାଦେବଙ୍କୁ ପ୍ରସନ୍ନ କରି, ଦିବ୍ୟଦୃଷ୍ଟି ମହେଶ୍ୱରଙ୍କ ଠାରୁ ସମସ୍ତ ପ୍ରାପ୍ତିକୁ ଅତିକ୍ରମ କରୁଥିବା ‘ପ୍ରିୟତ୍ୱ’ ଲାଭ କଲେ; ତେଣୁ ସେ ସର୍ବଲୋକର ପ୍ରିୟତମ ହେଲେ।
