अग्निकार्येषु वै तेषां हव्यं नाश्नाति पावक: । जो प्रज्वलित यज्ञाग्निमें समिधाकी आहुति नहीं देते

Transliteration

agnikāryeṣu vai teṣāṃ havyaṃ nāśnāti pāvakaḥ |

Translation

ଶକ୍ର କହିଲେ—ଅଗ୍ନିକାର୍ଯ୍ୟରେ ଯେମାନେ ଅବହେଳା କରନ୍ତି, ସେମାନଙ୍କ ହବ୍ୟକୁ ପାବକ ଗ୍ରହଣ କରନ୍ତି ନାହିଁ। ଯେମାନେ ପ୍ରଜ୍ୱଲିତ ଯଜ୍ଞାଗ୍ନିରେ ସମିଧାର ଆହୁତି ଦିଅନ୍ତି ନାହିଁ, ସେମାନଙ୍କ ଅଗ୍ନିହୋତ୍ରରେ ଅଗ୍ନିଦେବ ହବିଷ୍ୟ ଗ୍ରହଣ କରନ୍ତି ନାହିଁ; ତେଣୁ ଅଗ୍ନିକୁ ବିଧିପୂର୍ବକ ପ୍ରଜ୍ୱଲିତ କରି ମାତ୍ର ଆହୁତି ଦେବା ଉଚିତ।
